Swiss replica Hublot watches may be primed for “having a moment,” and I think that wider enthusiast appeal for the company’s achievements is probably forthcoming. The company has existed since the early 1980s but was barely on anyone’s map until Jean-Claude Biver bought the struggling company and resuscitated it in the early 2000s. His leadership was typified by a combination of spirited modern macho design with a blitzkrieg strategy for marketing and new model creation. He also introduced the “Art Of Fusion” concept for the Hublot brand, which was the foundation for the brand experimenting with pretty much any new type of material it could get its hands on. When LVMH purchased Hublot, the company only leaned more heavily into experimentation with new materials. Hublot has been a clear innovator both in terms of form and design, but how they are made. Colorful ceramic and sapphire watches have much to thank Hublot for, and the company has not shied away from experimental materials such as scratch-resistant “Magic Gold,” and, in this instance “concrete.” Today, I’d like to review one of the brand’s latest products that features this interesting material and discuss why I think the reference Swiss movement fake Hublot Big Bang MECA-10 Concrete Jungle watches is a cool watch and a great example of what Hublot is often really good at.
Hublot likes to mix and match its movements, materials, and case profiles a lot. The company has always been proud of its “modular” approach to watchmaking, and at times this can lead to very strange combinations, and at other times very ideal ones. That’s what being a Hublot collector is all about, in my opinion – looking out for those instances when Hublot (intentionally or accidentally) “gets it right” by having a watch that combines a series of disparate elements in a satisfying way. The modern 44mm Big Bang case, in-house developed and made caliber MECA-10 mechanical movement, and the concrete-style case material were all created independently of each another and have been featured in other best copy watches. The combination of all these together in one timepiece just happens to be particularly satisfying.
The Big Bang-style case is produced mainly from matte concrete, with sides which I believe are dark-tinted sections of sapphire crystal. The concrete is not the same as that which is used for building materials or sidewalks, but rather a concrete-style powder mixed with epoxy glue, and then given a surface treatment to protect it from various types of discoloration. The speckled gray color does however, offer an excellent analog to concrete, with a fashionable and urban artistic feel. I really like the semi-transparent sides of the case, which offer a teasing view in the buy clone Hublot watches UK operation. The case is water resistant to 50 meters, and over the dial is a flat AR-coated sapphire crystal with the Hublot logo applied on the underside.
The high quality reproduction Hublot Big Bang watches is among their larger in size and is 44mm wide and about 14mm thick with a roughly 56mm long lug-to-lug distance. Despite its large size, the modern Big Bang 44mm is very ergonomic and comfortable on the wrist. It has Hublot’s “One Click” strap removal system, and the kit comes with two straps (one gray fabric as seen, and another black rubber-lined option that is a bit sportier). The concrete case material itself is fascinating to look at in how it emulates small pits and discolorations that typify the look of actual concrete. I happen to like the look of rock and rock-style cases and watch dial materials. Perhaps not everyone feels the same way, but I think this and other Hublot Concrete Jungle watches are both rare and fashionable at the same time. Mark my words that for the rest of 2025 and into 2026 and 2027, we will be seeing a lot more AAA Hublot fake watches with rock or mineral cases and dials, as this is an emergent trend. What is a bit unknown is how well many of these materials will age over time. People who are strictly interested in predictable “watch aging” experiences might want to stick with familiar metals or ceramics. That said, hasn’t some Roman concrete been around for two thousand years so far?
The mechanical movement inside the 1:1 Hublot knock off watches is among the better artistic-themed yet practical manually wound movements the company has released over the last decade or so. It is known as the Hublot caliber HUB1201 “MECA-10” and operates at 3Hz with a long 240 (10 days) of power reserve. I first wrote about the Hublot Big Bang MECA-10 back in 2016; in 2018, I spent time with a ceramic version and discussed why I felt watch enthusiasts should be interested in its mechanism. I recommend that you check out one of those articles if you are interested in what inspired the MECA-10 movements and the various ways that Hublot has executed Big Bang MECA-10 watches. What I like about the HUB1201 movement is the combination of practicality and aesthetic design. Even though it is manually-wound, it is easy to live with and has a long power reserve along with multiple ways of viewing the power reserve on the dial. Winding the watch manually takes a bit of time, especially if the mainspring is mostly wound down. If you look, the mainspring is very thick. This is part of the system that allows for such much power over time. It does however require a lot of torque to turn it. Thus, the winding is geared more for power than efficiency, which means you will need to turn the crown a lot of times to feed the mainspring with energy — hardly a major issue given the overall performance.
There is a numeric-style power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock on the dial, a red circle that appears through some of the holes on the mainspring barrel (not to mention being able to see the taughtness of the mainspring barrel) at 3 o’clock on the dial, and then the position of the horizontally moving geared back under the 12 o’clock position on the dial. The movement also features a subsidiary seconds dial at the 9 o’clock position, and the hands and hour markers are very easy to read despite the overall openworked skeletonized style of the best-selling replica watches face itself. Hublot has a huge amount of experience with various forms of skeletonized dials, and they know how to maintain practical legibility (luminant is further applied to the hands and hour markers) and functionality while showing the inner workings of a movement (when they want to that is).
Hublot continues to offer some older versions of the Big Bang MECA-10 in addition to this USA-only Hublot boutique exclusive new “Big Bang MECA-10 Concrete Jungle” version for 2025. The perfect imitation Hublot watches has a New York City theme and will primarily be available at Hublot’s New York City store – but it should be available through other Hublot stores in the United States. Hublot does not claim the MECA-10 Concrete Jungle as a strict limited edition, but I don’t suspect there will be too many of these pieces made overall. Note there is also a small case size difference with this instant model when compared to most previous Big Bang MECA-10 watches that are in a 45mm wide case, versus the 44mm wide case of the Big Bang MECA-10 Concrete Jungle. Pricewise, there is a real cost premium for the concrete versus even the ceramic versions of the Big Bang MECA-10. Prices for the titanium base model is $23,000 USD while the Big Bang MECA-10 Ceramic has a retail price of $25,200 USD. These USA-only reference 424.XC.5510.NR.NYC25 concrete-cased watches are more expensive, but this is a very sweet Big Bang-style watch with a slick mechanical movement for those who can afford it. Price for the Hublot Big Bang MECA-10 Concrete Jungle is $34,100 USD. Learn more at the Hublot website.
